Café Rosé | 5 minutes walk from the Market square

Café Rosé is the oldest LGBTQ bar of Maastricht, accessible for everybody. Experience an open-minded homely atmosphere in the middle of the city center. Apart from the regular bar nights we’re also holding special events like pub quizzes, karaoke nights or drag shows! The bar can be found in the COC Limburg building, located at Bogaardenstraat 43 in Maastricht at a 5 minute walk from the market square and city hall.

COC Limburg is the main LGBT organisation for the Dutch province of Limburg. Since 1972, they work for the interests and rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and trans people. COC Limburg has various internal organisations catering to specific groups, for people of all age, from people with mental disabilities to bicultural individuals. We provide a safe environment where social interaction within a specific group is possible. They also organize various lectures, debates, workshops, information sessions at schools, and other events around LGBT issues, and for the LGBT community itself. Together striving towards an inclusive society.

Sway Café | Party place at the the Market square

Sway Café is an open-minded café in a monumental building on the Market square in Maastricht, next to the Mosae Forum shopping center. A varied audience comes together here to have a drink, catch up and/or swing an ‘sway’ into the night.

Queerfactory by COC Limburg | Ready for the most fabulous party of the year?

Queerfactory will take place on the 8th of April 2023. De Muziekgieterij is the youngest music venue of the Netherlands. After the forced departure from the Banka Studios, the Muziekgieterij temporarily found refuge in the Timmerfabriek. After recognition from the City of Maastricht in 2017, they started building the new Muziekgieterij at its current location, where they opened in September 2019. The Muziekgieterij stands for innovativity, internationality, and inclusivity. It is with that in mind that it’s no more than logical that the Queer Factory will be held here!
